Job Description
GM Remodeling LLC is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Lead Painter / Crew Leader to join our team full-time.
We specialize in professional interior and exterior painting and wallpaper installation throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and can manage painting projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise painting crews on residential and commercial projects.
- Manage daily job site operations and assign tasks to crew members.
- Perform professional interior and exterior painting.
- Prepare surfaces through sanding, patching, caulking, masking, and priming.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards.
- Keep projects organized, clean, and on schedule.
- Communicate project progress and material needs to management.
- Train, guide, and support crew members.
- Protect customers' flooring, furniture, and belongings.
- Conduct quality inspections and address issues before project completion.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience required.
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of professional painting techniques, preparation, and finishing.
- Experience using paint sprayers and professional painting equipment.
- Ability to manage crews and complete projects independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Valid government-issued identification.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with customers.
Work Schedule
We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance while delivering exceptional results for our customers.
- Monday–Friday: Regular work schedule.
- Saturdays: Occasionally required depending on project needs.
- Sundays: Never scheduled.
- Daily Hours: Approximately 8 hours per day, with some variation depending on the project.
- Holidays: No work scheduled on holidays.
