About this position

Our client, a leading petrochemical manufacturing organization, is seeking an Advanced Process Controls Engineer to join their team. As an Advanced Process Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Process Engineering Department supporting the petrochemical processing units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Advanced Process Controls Engineer Location: Port Neches, TX What's the Job? Develop and implement advanced process control strategies to optimize chemical production processes. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues efficiently. Conduct process simulations and modeling to support process improvements and capital projects. Participate in process safety management activities, including hazard and operability studies (HAZOP). Support the development and refinement of operating procedures to ensure safety and efficiency. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience in a chemical processing plant. Honeywell APC platform ideal Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with process control systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. What's in it for me?
