As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Route Planning in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic media and technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 - $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a media and publishing location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct guests in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office floors, production areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities, document incidents accurately, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
