DOCUMENT ADMINISTRATION SPECIALIST I
LOCATION
Greenville, SC | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18.88
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 12-week assignment
ROLE IMPACT
The Document Administration Specialist I supports accurate and timely administration of mortgage servicing and collateral documentation. This entry-level role helps maintain document integrity, meet service-level agreements (SLAs), and ensure physical and electronic records are properly processed, tracked, and available when needed. The position works closely with vendors, custodians, and servicing partners to resolve requests and maintain accurate records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research, process, and perform data entry for mortgage servicing documents, including lien releases, Assignments of Mortgage, allonges, Lost Note Affidavits, Lost Mortgage Affidavits, partial releases, and assumptions.
• Review loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with documentation standards and established SLAs.
• Request, receive, catalog, inventory, and ship collateral documents and files while maintaining accurate real-time physical and electronic inventory records.
• Process task queues, exception reports, document check-in/check-out activities, and monthly inventory audits with custodians, file centers, and the onsite file room.
• Update loan records and the Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems (MERS) database, communicate with vendors and servicing partners, and document required actions and follow-ups.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant document administration, mortgage servicing, data entry, records management, or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong written and verbal communication, research, analytical, organization, and time-management skills.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
