Responsibilities
  • Perform welding on various types of pipes and fittings, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Inspect and test welded joints to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Document work performed and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Pipe Welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficient in various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
  • Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.
