Responsibilities- Perform welding on various types of pipes and fittings, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Inspect and test welded joints to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document work performed and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
- Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.
