Schedule
- Ongoing locum coverage
- 8- and 10-hour weekday shifts
- 16-hour weekday beeper call
- 24-hour weekend beeper call
- Weekends desired
- Preferred commitment: One week at a time , including scheduled shifts and call
- Flexible call schedule with the ability to swap call assignments as the schedule evolves
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Fellowship trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology (ACGME)
- ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license
- DEA required prior to start
Clinical Practice
- Pediatric surgical cases only
- Neurosurgery
- Orthopedics
- General Surgery
- ENT
- Neonates through adolescents
- Average daily case volume: <20 cases
Procedures
Providers should be comfortable performing:
- Regional blocks
- Caudal blocks
- Pediatric spinal anesthesia
- Epidurals
- Other pediatric regional techniques
