Job Opportunity: Apprentice Carpenter and/or Skilled Laborers

Location: King County, WA

Pay: $22-32/hr DOE.

Schedule: Full-Time, Contract | 40+ hrs per week

About the Role

We are seeking reliable, motivated Apprentice Carpenters and/or Skilled Laborers who are eager to learn new skills, grow within the trade, and advance towards becoming a Journeyman Carpenter. Opportunities are available for upcoming commercial and industrial projects in King County, WA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist carpenters and skilled tradespeople with commercial and industrial construction projects, including material handling, installation, demolition, and general labor.
  • Perform basic carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, fastening, framing, and assisting with material installation.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other construction equipment as trained and directed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite while following all company, OSHA, and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Work reliably as part of a crew, follow directions from supervisors, meet project schedules, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the construction trade.

Requirements

  • Construction, carpentry, or general labor experience preferred; apprenticeship or entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required.
  • Must have the ability to safely perform physical construction duties, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, standing, climbing, and working for extended periods.
  • Owning basic hand tools or being able to obtain such tools before assignment is required
  • Must be willing to follow safety procedures, take direction, work as part of a team, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Do you have experience with commercial or industrial construction?
  • If yes, briefly describe the types of projects and work you performed.
  • What construction or carpentry skills are you most experienced with?

  • What tools do you currently own and regularly use?
  • Please provide a brief list.
  • Do you have the required commercial jobsite PPE? Please confirm you have a hard hat, work boots, work pants/jeans, work gloves, safety glasses, and a high-visibility vest.
  • Do you have reliable transportation to and from job sites throughout King County, WA?
  • Are you comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding construction work, including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods?
  • Are you comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or elevated work areas when properly trained and authorized?
  • Are you comfortable taking direction, working as part of a crew, and learning new skills from experienced carpenters and foremen?
  • How soon are you available to start, and are you interested in ongoing commercial/industrial work with opportunities to develop your skills and advance toward Journeyman Carpenter?
