Pay: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
We’re seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to help build new industrial equipment. This role involves assembling conveyors, machinery, engines, and heavy equipment using hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Assemble new equipment, conveyors, machines, engines, and heavy equipment.
- Use impact guns, drills, and hand and power tools to complete assembly work.
- Read a tape measure and follow assembly instructions.
- Work with equipment that may include electrical and hydraulic components.
- Keep tools and the work area organized and follow safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two to three years of mechanical experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Experience using impact guns, drills, and hand and power tools, including battery-powered or pneumatic tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Personal hand tools preferred.
- Ability to lift 50–75 pounds and work in a hot industrial environment.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and meet background screening requirements.
