About this position
Our client is seeking an Inside Sales/Project Coordinator whose primary responsibility is to assist with sales support for the division’s projects and their key customer relationships. The individual will need to be an excellent communicator and have the organizational skills necessary to manage, track and execute large scale construction projects where their products are used. They will work in conjunction with management to identify business opportunities by developing new prospects and interacting with new/existing customers. They will be a key member of product divisions for the Indiana & Kentucky markets.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Construction Project Review: Vet products listed in specifications and conduct a limited take-off of quantities from project plans.
- Prepare/Assemble quotations, gather bidder information, and communicate pertinent data.
- Coordinate order project management and customer service across all Interior & Exterior product lines.
- Provide updates on project progress to team, manufacturers, and customers.
- Evaluate sales commitments to mitigate risks and ensure profitability for the company
- Review project proposals, prioritize based on revenue and profitability goals, and execute sales commitments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of sales support experience.
- Experience with construction terms and processes; Understanding Construction Drawings is preferred but not required.
- Experience with project management and customer service, preferred.
- Experience with relevant software applications, such as, MS Word, Outlook,Excel
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Effective Communication Skills using multiple forms of media – Phone, Email
