Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) Locum Tenens Coverage

MedCare Staffing is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for temporary locum tenens coverage at an established, well-regarded pediatric primary care practice near Roswell, Georgia. This is a need for additional temporary coverage. 1-2 days per week through November and early part of December.
The practice operates Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a lunch break from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Anticipated coverage dates currently include December 22, 23, 29, and 30, 2026, though scheduling may be adjusted. The practice sees approximately 20 to 25 patients per day, split between well-child visits and sick/acute care, and each provider works alongside a dedicated medical assistant. The practice uses paper charting rather than an EMR.
This is a vaccine-friendly, well-established pediatric practice providing comprehensive primary care for both acute and chronic conditions, along with routine well-child visits. The practice accommodates families who follow alternate or delayed vaccine schedules. The PNP will work under a protocol agreement covering well-child care, immunizations, assessment and treatment of acute and chronic illness, and diagnostic studies and treatments as clinically indicated.
Candidates must be local to the Roswell area, as this assignment does not include mileage reimbursement or lodging accommodations. An active Georgia PNP license in good standing is required, along with current certifications appropriate to pediatric primary care practice.
