As an Entry-Level Assembly team member, you will produce custom wooden cores in a team assembly line and cross-trained production cells. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will operate saws, assemble components with staple guns, perform quality checks, handle materials, and maintain an organized workstation. Occasional forklift operation may be part of the role, though prior forklift experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate bandsaws and radial arm saws.
- Assemble custom wooden cores using staple guns.
- Align components accurately during assembly.
- Perform quality inspections of assembled products.
- Handle materials throughout the production process.
- Participate in team assembly lines and cross-trained production cells.
- Operate a forklift occasionally as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in wood assembly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating bandsaws or radial arm saws.
- Staple gun operation experience.
- Material handling experience.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
