Job Description
The Deburr Technician prepares machined metal and aerospace components for production by removing burrs, finishing edges, and performing visual inspections. Reporting to a production supervisor, this role uses manual hand tools, bench grinders, and sanders while maintaining an organized and effective workstation.
Responsibilities
- Deburr machined metal and aerospace components using manual hand tools.
- Finish component edges to meet production requirements.
- Interpret blueprints to support accurate part processing.
- Use bench grinders and sanders for deburring and surface finishing.
- Perform visual first-piece and in-process inspections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and functional workstation.
- Report to and coordinate with the production supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in metal finishing.
- Experience operating hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with grinding and polishing.
