MIG Welder – Stainless Steel
Staff Force Personnel Services is currently hiring experienced MIG Welders for a cabinet manufacturing company in Elgin, TX.
We are looking for dependable, skilled welders with experience welding stainless steel who can produce quality work while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Schedule & Pay
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime: Available as needed
- Pay: $20–$23 per hour, depending on experience
- Location: Elgin, TX
Job Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on stainless steel components used in cabinet manufacturing.
- Set up and operate MIG welding equipment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
- Measure, fit, align, and weld metal components according to specifications.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and proper appearance.
- Perform grinding, cleaning, and other finishing work as needed.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Meet production and quality standards.
- Work closely with other production team members to complete cabinet assemblies.
Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience is required.
- Experience welding stainless steel is strongly preferred.
- Manufacturing, metal fabrication, or cabinet manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read basic measurements and welding specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and work with metal components.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Ability to safely wear required PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, and protective clothing.
