Monday-Thursday 6:49am to 3pm, every other Friday 7:49am to 1pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process dental instruments and patient care items through the sterilization process safely and efficiently
- Maintain sterilization equipment, following manufacture maintenance guidelines and intervals
- Turn on equipment in the morning and off at night
- Manage supplies and instruments,
- Disinfect as required by OSHA and state regulations
- Maintain sterilization log books.
- Comply with and share in the implementation of all safety, sterilization and infection control requirements, including OSHA.
- Assist other clinic staff and demonstrate a team approach to patient care. Perform other related activities, as required, to assure program/department success.
- Properly dispose of all biohazardous material.
