General Laborer – IT Equipment Moving & Loading (2-Day Assignment)
Location: Tampa, FL 33610
Pay Rate: 20.00/ hr
Job Type: Temporary – 2-Day Assignment
Schedule:
- Thursday, October 15, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Friday, October 16, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Job Summary
Labor Staffing is seeking a reliable, physically capable General Laborer for a short-term, two-day assignment in Tampa, FL. This position involves moving, lifting, and loading computer equipment, monitors, boxes, and office cabinets.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable performing physical labor, handling equipment carefully, and maintaining a neat, professional appearance and attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely lift, carry, and relocate computers, monitors, boxes, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with moving large, empty cabinets that do not have wheels.
- Load computer monitors and equipment onto carts for transportation to the loading dock.
- Organize and stack equipment onto pallets.
- Assist with wrapping and securing pallets for transportation.
- Use a pallet jack to move loaded pallets onto a truck.
- Work cooperatively with team members when moving heavy or oversized items.
- Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to independently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to assist team members with moving items weighing over 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the assignment.
- Previous experience in general labor, moving, warehouse operations, or loading/unloading preferred.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and available for both scheduled days.
- Must maintain a neat, professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Must be able to handle computer equipment carefully.
- Valid identification is required.
