About this position
Corte is a new neighborhood restaurant opening in Philadelphia's East Market district in Fall 2026. Our menu will center on thoughtful, ingredient-driven cooking from the wood-fired oven, alongside handmade pastas, seasonal vegetables, and a focused selection of Italian wines and classic cocktails.
The restaurant is being built around familiar but ambitious food and genuine hospitality. Led by Executive Chef David Feola (Vernick Food & Drink, Ember and Ash, Hearthside; partner in Corio), we are building an opening team of people who take ownership, contribute ideas, and want to grow with the restaurant. We are seeking Support Staff who are attentive, organized, and eager to contribute to a thoughtful and well-paced guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Support Servers and Bartenders in providing attentive and efficient service
- Run food accurately and confidently, with an understanding of each dish and its proper presentation
- Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently throughout service
- Maintain water service and anticipate basic guest and table needs
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service stations
- Communicate clearly with Servers, Bartenders, Hosts, and the kitchen throughout service
- Participate in pre-shift training, tastings, and ongoing menu education
- Uphold the restaurant's standards for hospitality, consistency, and teamwork
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently and remain attentive during high-volume service
- Interest in learning about food, wine, and restaurant service
- Ability to work collaboratively and respond quickly to the needs of the team
- A team-first attitude and willingness to support colleagues across the floor
- Availability to work daytime and evening hours, weekends, and holidays as required
