Junior attorneys will have opportunities to match their abilities as they develop, and will work directly with partners to develop those abilities, including arguing motions, taking depositions, and taking on responsibilities on trial teams. *Job Description*: Cherian Harkins Dunham LLP seeks an associate with 3-7 years of litigation experience to join its San Francisco Bay Area office in Oakland, CA as an Associate. The Associate will work primarily with the firm’s patent litigation team. The Associate will be responsible for assisting partners and counsel on various matters and performing legal and factual research and investigations, assessing patent infringement and validity, writing briefs and pleadings, conducting discovery, performing technical research and due diligence, preparing for and taking depositions, working with expert witnesses, and other assignments related to the firm’s ongoing matters. The position is primarily an in-office position. *Qualifications*: All candidates should have excellent academic credentials and 3-7 years of law firm experience working on patent litigation matters. Candidates should have full command of their legal research and writing skills, well-developed organization, communication and analytical abilities, and a willingness to take on significant responsibility. Technical background in engineering or computer science preferred but not required.
