About The Bronze Owl

The Bronze Owl is an upscale cocktail lounge located inside the historic Martinique New York on Broadway. Known for its sophisticated atmosphere, craft cocktails, live entertainment, and private events, we are looking for motivated and dependable hospitality professionals to join our team.

Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Barback / Food Runner / Busser to support our bartenders, servers, and overall front-of-house operations.

This is a hands-on, multifaceted position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, upscale hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Bar Support

  • Assist bartenders with restocking spirits, mixers, garnishes, ice, and supplies.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar.

  • Wash, polish, and replenish glassware.

  • Ensure bar stations remain fully stocked throughout service.

  • Assist with opening and closing duties.

Food Running

  • Deliver food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests.

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff.

  • Ensure proper food presentation and timely delivery.

  • Assist servers in maintaining smooth and efficient service.

Bussing & Floor Support

  • Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently.

  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the dining and lounge areas.

  • Replenish service stations and supplies.

  • Support service during private events, cocktail receptions, and busy evening operations.

  • Assist with maintaining a welcoming and polished guest environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant, cocktail lounge, or hospitality experience preferred.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness.

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and remain on your feet for extended periods.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to assist wherever needed.
