STRUCTURAL WELDERS – INTEL CHANDLER
Location: Chandler, AZ
Pay: $47.00/hr Base + $18.91/hr Fringe = $65.91/hr Total Package
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Project Duration: Approximately 2 months
Positions Available: 40 Welders
SHIFTS- Day Shift: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Swing Shift: 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Work weeks may reach 50–60 hours, with holidays occasionally affecting the schedule.
- 4–5+ years of journeyman-level welding experience preferred
- Strong 3G & 4G SMAW experience
- Must pass a weld test
- Structural and field welding experience strongly preferred
- Joist upgrade experience is a plus
- Ability to read drawings, E-sheets and details
- Reliable transportation
- Good attendance is required
- Must follow strict Intel safety requirements
- Must pass a respirator fit test
- Clean shaven required for respirator fit testing
- Structural welding and joist upgrades
- Grinding and steel preparation
- Chemical paint stripping
- Working from scaffolding
- Working in areas containing lead-based paint
- Following all Intel safety and site requirements
IMPORTANT: This is a field welding position, not a shop welding job. Candidates must be comfortable working in an active Intel construction environment with heightened safety requirements.
