About the PositionTransForce is seeking Class A Flatbed Drivers for a regional direct-hire opportunity in Dalton, Ohio. Drivers will transport steel products, building materials, pipe, and lumber within a 400-mile radius, typically operating 200–300 miles from the terminal.
Pay & Schedule Details- $37.50 per hour
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Home every weekend
- Typically 2–3 nights out per week
- 40 hours per week
- $1,000 sign-on bonus
- Anticipated start date: June 15, 2026
- Route type: Regional
- Freight: Steel products, building materials, pipe, and lumber
- Equipment: Automatic-transmission trucks
- Handling: Strapping and tarping as needed
- Tarping bonus: $75 when tarping is performed more than three times per week
- Truck amenities: Refrigerators and microwave hookups
- No oversized loads
- Ability to take the truck home
- Pet and rider policies available
- Home weekly
- No slip seating
- Safely operate assigned vehicles on local and regional routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Secure loads using straps and tarps as required
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience, including flatbed experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
