The ideal candidate will have experience in a factory or manufacturing facility and possess a strong mechanical knowledge. This role involves working on the assembly line, utilizing hand tools and power tools to assemble products efficiently and accurately. Duties

  • Assemble components and products according to specifications on the assembly line.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area within the manufacturing facility.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Operate forklifts as needed for material handling (certification preferred).
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during the assembly process.

Job description:

To assist in the day to day functions of the Assembly dept.

Deciphers Job orders

Read prints, charts, calipers, and micrometers

Builds disks and subassemblies

Identifies and Sets Values after receiving certification

completes basic form and verifies accuracy of paperwork

builds main valves, subassemblies and solves value kitting problems

drills, seats, presses, locates, threads, measures, trims, heat treats, polishes, washes, preps, paints, and performs pressure tests

Requirements

  • Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand assembly instructions and diagrams.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in an assembly line environment, maintaining focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Forklift operation experience is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
