Industrial Electrician
Knoxville, TN 37919
THE POSITION:
- The Electrician performs routine installations, repairs, and maintenance of all electrical systems throughout the production facility to ensure compliance with local and federal codes
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time electrical experience
Strong electrical field knowledge, including:
- Conduit bending and wire installation
- Troubleshooting machine controls
- Frequency drives
- Motor starters
- Relay logic and PLCs
- Electrical repairs and upgrades as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Skilled in the use of tools associated with the electrician’s trade
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) systems
- PLC troubleshooting experience helpful
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematics
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Self-directed team player with effective communication skills
- Willing and able to assist with non-electrical projects as needed
- Strong safety awareness
- Basic PC knowledge
