Job Description

We are seeking an Assembler for Chemical Services to support the safe assembly, handling, labeling, packaging, and preparation of chemical-related products and service materials.

This role is responsible for following work instructions, maintaining quality standards, using proper safety procedures, inspecting finished items, and keeping accurate production and inventory records.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and experience in assembly, production, packaging, or chemical handling. This position also requires adherence to chemical safety practices, proper use of personal protective equipment, and attention to detail in all assembly-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and packaging activities.
• Support chemical-related assembly and service activities with proper safety awareness.
• Follow established chemical handling and safety procedures.
• Perform quality inspections of finished items.
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate production and inventory records.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work in a production area and/or chemical service area.
• Stand for extended periods while performing job duties.
• Properly wear required PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, aprons, and other protective equipment.
• Work around chemicals, fumes, or industrial equipment under controlled safety conditions.
• Follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in assembly, production, packaging, or chemical handling is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety and quality practices.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to follow PPE and chemical safety requirements.

Education & Experience

Requires developing job knowledge/skills.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary/Associate Degree with 2 years of prior related experience.

Physical & Work Environment

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Requires use of personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and aprons.
• May involve exposure to chemicals, fumes, or industrial equipment under controlled safety conditions.
• Must be able to safely perform assembly, packaging, inspection, and related production activities.

Schedule

Weekend Shift:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday
6:00 AM–6:00 PM

Compensation & Employment

$25.80/hr on W2

12+ Months Contract to Hire
