CSE, Inc. seeks a skilled and experienced Steel Fabricator/Welder to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical documents.
- Fabricate, cut, and assemble structural and miscellaneous steel components.
- Perform accurate layout, measuring, and fitting of materials.
- Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety regulations.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Obtain and maintain FCAW welding qualification to meet AWS D1.1 standards as needed.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Occasionally required to stoop, crouch, or kneel.
- Frequently lift and/or move materials up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Visual acuity requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Qualifications
Proven experience in steel fabrication and welding.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and safety standards.
- FCAW welding certification or ability to obtain certification.
