Dean's Professional Services is now hiring for qualified Medical Assistants to work in the Heights North area of Houston for a large Healthcare Organization.
Medical Assistant Job Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: 1351 W 43rd St, Houston, TX 77018
Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hourly + (Based on experience)
Temporary to hire
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs laboratory tests, EKGs, suture/staple removals, dressing changes among other patient care procedures.
- Collect and chart vitals, patient history, and other screening.
- Authorize prescription refills.
- Instruct patients regarding medications and diet.
- Rooming patients
- Phlebotomy
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma required.
- Must be certified
- 2+ years medical assistant experience required.
- Bilingual-English/ Spanish Preferred.
- Athena experience preferred.
