Job Description

Our organization is in search of a Physician to take on the role of Site Medical Director for our facility in Central Pennsylvania (Hanover).

The preferred candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in Hospitalist medicine and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee quality metrics and outcomes for the program. Engage with referring physicians and address their concerns effectively. Assess and provide feedback to practicing hospitalists regarding their clinical and administrative performance. Ensure that the patients of hospitalists meet the quality and satisfaction standards set by regulatory and payer organizations. Act as a liaison between the hospitalist program and various clinical departments. Guarantee timely communication with patients and provide opportunities for them to ask questions. Collaborate with other sectors of the health system to achieve system objectives related to the hospitalist program. Partner with nursing and other clinical team members to develop and implement care protocols for optimal patient care. Assist in the recruitment and retention of physicians to serve as hospitalists.
