About this position
ABOUT VERTAGE
Vertage is the amplification engine built to rewire how work gets done. We bring together the right mix of expert talent and AI to help people and businesses move faster, think bigger and stay ahead in the intelligence era.
Built on decades of workforce expertise, Vertage works with a global community of 1.5 million specialists across 80 countries, spanning recruitment, workforce solutions, services procurement and global employment. We’re a new brand with real scale behind it, and this team will help shape how the world gets to know us.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Campaign Manager (ABM) to own Vertage campaigns in North America from first idea to final results. You will turn revenue goals and sales priorities into campaign strategy, build the plan, bring together the people who deliver it, and run it day to day until it’s done and measured. Account-based marketing is the core of the role: 1:1, 1:few and 1:many programs that reach the full buying committee at our priority accounts.
This is not a hand-off role. You write the brief, build the plan, and stay accountable for scope, timeline, budget and results. Content, product marketing, digital and social, field and events, marketing operations, sales enablement and sales each deliver a piece. You own the whole campaign and keep everyone moving in the same direction. When someone needs to know what’s launching, what’s late and what’s working, they come to you.
You will orchestrate multi-touch, personalized campaigns across paid media, LinkedIn, email, web personalization, direct mail and events, and use intent, firmographic and engagement data to decide who to target and what to say. You will run paid media yourself. We don’t use an agency, so you build the paid strategy and carry it out across channels, from setup and budget to optimization and reporting. You will also work in HubSpot and our ABM and ad tech platforms, and you will be hands-on where it matters.
Vertage blends expert people with AI, and this team works the same way. You will use AI to do better work faster, from account research and message testing to personalization and reporting. This is also a builder role for the North America region. Vertage is a new brand, so you will set how campaigns are planned, run and measured here, then help scale that approach across the business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
01 STRATEGY - Set the direction
Architect and lead account-based programs (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) across prioritized accounts, mixing digital, content and field tactics.
Own campaign strategy. Turn revenue targets and sales priorities into clear goals, audiences, messages and channel mix for each campaign.
Co-own account selection and ICP refinement with sales. Use intent signals, technographics and engagement data to build prioritized account lists and micro-segments.
Agree success measures before each campaign starts: pipeline, account progression and engagement targets that marketing and sales both sign up to.
02 PLANNING - Turn strategy into a plan
Write the brief and project plan for every campaign: objectives, audience, messaging, deliverables, owners, dates, dependencies and budget.
Build and maintain the integrated campaign calendar, aligned with Vertage brand activity, launches and the events program.
Design multi-touch, cross-channel journeys (LinkedIn, display and retargeting, email nurture, web personalization, events, direct mail, content) that influence the whole buying committee.
Manage campaign budgets, including paid media and vendor spend. Forecast, track against plan and flag changes early.
03 COLLABORATION - Bring the team together
Lead the cross-functional campaign team. Run kickoffs and regular check-ins, assign clear owners, remove blockers and escalate risks early.
Be the connection point between marketing and sales. Share account intelligence, messaging and plays, and set up the follow-up flows sales needs after each campaign touch.
Work with content, product marketing, digital and social, field and events, marketing operations and sales enablement so every campaign is consistent with Vertage brand and messaging.
04 EXECUTION - Deliver on time
Project manage every campaign from kickoff to wrap-up. Track milestones, approvals and risks, and keep one clear source of truth on status that anyone can read.
Execute the paid media strategy across channels, in house with no agency. Build audiences, brief creative, set up and manage campaigns, control budgets and bids, and optimize and report on performance.
Use AI across the campaign cycle: account and audience research, copy and creative variants, ad testing, segmentation and reporting. Build repeatable AI-assisted workflows, keep a human check on quality, brand and data privacy, and share what works with the team.
Set up, QA and launch campaigns hands-on in HubSpot, and integrate ABM and ad tech platforms with the wider stack.
05 MEASUREMENT - Learn and scale
Track engagement, account progression, attribution and pipeline impact in real time. Use the data to optimize and pivot.
Present campaign dashboards, results and next-step recommendations to senior leadership, and run a review after every campaign on what worked and what changes next time.
Build and refine account-level playbooks, templates and a standard campaign process so what works can be repeated across teams.
Evaluate new ABM tools, technologies and data sources, and propose improvements to our stack and processes.
WHAT YOU BRING
ESSENTIAL
8+ years in B2B marketing or demand gen, with 2+ years in ABM roles within SaaS, tech services or enterprise environments.
Proven record of owning multi-channel campaigns from strategy through execution, including full-funnel ABM campaigns that directly influenced pipeline.
Practical AI fluency. You already use AI tools in your daily marketing work, can show how they improved speed or results, and know where human judgment still matters.
Hands-on paid media experience. You have planned, bought and optimized paid campaigns yourself across channels such as LinkedIn and display, and can work without agency support.
Strong project management skills: you can plan, sequence and track several campaigns at once, manage dependencies and deadlines, and keep budgets on target.
A natural team leader across functions. You can get content, ops, sales and creative teams aligned and moving, and you handle trade-offs openly.
Hands-on with marketing automation and CRM (for example, HubSpot), and deeply familiar with ABM and intent platforms.
Strong analytical skills: you can dig into data, attribution and funnel metrics and turn them into decisions.
Excellent communication, including presenting strategy, results and roadmap to senior leaders.
A test-and-learn mindset: curious to try new channels and tactics, quick to iterate, comfortable failing smart.
DESIRED
Experience marketing to enterprise HR, talent acquisition and procurement leaders, such as CHROs and CPOs.
Background in staffing, workforce solutions, HR tech or professional services.
Experience building AI-assisted workflows or automations for marketing, such as research, content or reporting.
Experience supporting a brand launch or rebrand.
Project management certification or equivalent hands-on practice.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but it can be substituted for applicable experience.
