Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced TIG/MIG Welder to perform high-quality welding and fabrication work on metal components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints, follow welding specifications, operate welding equipment safely, and produce clean, accurate welds while meeting production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions.
  • Set up and operate welding machines, torches, grinders, and related equipment.
  • Select appropriate welding methods, materials, settings, and techniques for each project.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, strength, and appearance.
  • Prepare, clean, fit, and position metal parts before welding.
  • Use measuring tools and equipment to ensure parts meet required specifications.
  • Grind, finish, and clean welded areas as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and other team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Previous TIG and/or MIG welding experience required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, grinders, and measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle materials as required.
  • Welding certification is a plus, but not required unless specified by the client.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and work in various positions.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment:
Manufacturing, fabrication, or warehouse production environment. Employees may be exposed to heat, sparks, noise, fumes, and metal materials and must follow all required safety procedures.
