Physical Therapist needed to support healthcare system in Crescent City, CA. '..This setting offers medical acute, acute inpatient rehab and outpatient opportunities. Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Provides clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students. Moderate in climate and nestled along a gorgeous ocean coastline with a surrounding mountain landscape, Crescent City is beautiful, peaceful, affordable, and perfect for those with a propensity for outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, surfing, and camping. With lush groves of redwood trees and wildlife in abundance, it’s a hidden gem and the ideal place to write the next chapter of your life, both professional and personal. Opportunities for water recreation with the oceans and rivers and hundreds of nature trials between the Oregon and Ca coastlines, redwoods etc. The qualified candidate may receive up to $40,000 for sign on bonus.
