\nLaw Offices of Michael Raff, LLC is hiring an Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Tax Attorney for a hybrid role in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
\nWe’re looking for someone with a solid track record of tax preparation and experience helping clients navigate tax controversies. Someone who enjoys working on the puzzle pieces of a tax return but also knows how to vigorously advocate for a client to a tax authority.
\nThe work includes:
\n• Preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, including more complex matters such as international taxation and reporting.
\n• Working on IRS and Illinois Department of Revenue tax controversy matters including audits, administrative litigation, disclosures and collection resolutions.
\n• Reviewing notices, transcripts, financial records, and supporting documents.
\n• Communicating with clients and working directly with coworkers to develop practical solutions.
\nWhat we’re looking for:
\n• An active EA, CPA, or Attorney credential.
\n• Tax preparation familiarity and hands-on tax controversy experience.
\n• Strong writing, organization, and follow-through.
\n• An approachable manner and an appreciation for personal, attentive client service.
\nWhat you can expect:
