Director of Electrical Engineering Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide the electrical engineering team, including staffing, performance, and development initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies for project distribution that align with team capabilities and project demands.
- Address technical gaps and resolve design conflicts across different engineering and operational groups.
- Conduct high-level reviews of major projects, focusing on cost, risk, and strategic importance.
- Manage the integrity of engineering data, ensuring accuracy and seamless integration with company systems and processes.
Director of Electrical Engineering Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible electrical engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Prior experience leading or managing electrical engineering teams.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical standards including NEC, UL, ANSI, and IEEE.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
