General Labor - Job Description
Company offers an array of solutions for transportation needs. Our company specializes in bus remanufacturing, interior rehabs, accident and fire repair, rail repair and rehab, and alternative fuel conversions.
Essential Responsibilities
The General Labor, under the direction of the Production Supervisor, provides general assistance to the mechanic, mechanic helper and project team.
Specific Responsibilities
- Daily cleanup and organization of designated work areas.
- General maintenance of overall facility.
- Clean and store all tools and equipment at end of shift.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to learn the use of basic tools and equipment relative to the repair of transit buses.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision while working in a team-oriented environment.
Must be able to:
- Carry, pull, and push up to 50 pounds of dead weight.
- Climb up and down a ladder.
- Sit, stand, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch and or crawl.
- Twist or turn in confined spaces.
