Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSylvia L. Poitier and Theodora S. Williams Senior Center administered by the Northwest Federated Woman's Club of Broward County Inc. has an immediate opening in Fort Lauderdale for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This is a professional position responsible for assisting in the delivery of senior care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year LPN experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent AND a completed course of study leading to Florida licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current active/clear State of Florida LPN license
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Must be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Must pass a level 2 background screening and drug screening
- Ability to utilize a computer to read/respond to emails and update client information electronically.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17 - $20 per hour
