An Apprentice Plumber assists experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. This role offers hands-on learning opportunities to develop skills in pipe fitting, plumbing code compliance, and customer service within residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in installing and repairing water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures
- Support experienced plumbers with troubleshooting plumbing issues
- Learn to read blueprints and plumbing schematics
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Ensure work areas are clean and safe
- Follow safety procedures and plumbing codes
- Complete training and coursework as required by apprenticeship program
