Workers' Compensation Attorney

Locations: Woodbridge/Iselin, NJ | Lancaster, PA


We are partnering with established, highly respected law firms seeking experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorneys to join their growing litigation teams across multiple locations.

These opportunities are ideal for attorneys with workers' compensation litigation experience who are looking for long-term career growth, competitive compensation, and a collaborative work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Represent employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in workers' compensation defense matters.
  • Manage cases from initial evaluation through resolution.
  • Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements.
  • Review medical records, expert reports, and discovery materials.
  • Develop litigation strategies and provide legal guidance to clients.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active Bar admission in good standing in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Prior workers' compensation litigation experience required.
  • Defense-side experience representing employers or insurance carriers strongly preferred.
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and litigation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
