Plant Electrician
Accountabilities:
- Diagnose malfunctioning (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic) components required in an expeditious manner on equipment associated with a Preparation Plant
- Maintain permissibility and repair malfunctioning and down equipment
- Lock-out/tag-out equipment at power sources
- Maintain records of repair and maintenance activities, preventive maintenance activities and work orders
- Capable of reading and interpreting complex blue prints and electrical and hydraulic circuit’s schematics
- Know the standard operating procedures for the installation of electrical power distribution boxes and systems
- Know how to energize, de-energize and operate surface mining equipment
- Knowledge of lubrication and service requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years surface maintenance experience
- Ability to pass an electrical, mechanical and hydraulic test
- PLC experience required
Certifications/Licenses:
- WV/MSHA Surface Electrical Certification
