Welding Supervisor
A Global Manufacturer is looking for a Welding Supervisor to join their team.
Position Summary
Provide direct leadership and resources to Team leaders and Technical Specialists to ensure goals and objectives within their areas of responsibility are met.
RESPONSIBILITES:
· Maintain all daily production requirements.
· Ensure business plan production goals are met.
· Ensure that all quality goals are accomplished and maintained.
· Check operation standards to actual line process.
· Plan and implement job rotation training.
· Check and maintain 5S requirements.
· Ensure associates have all necessary cleaning tools.
· Ensure associates are following all safety requirements.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Responsible for ensuring accuracy of time and attendance for all associates in Kronos system.
· Check and assist in the ordering and evaluation of new equipment.
· Perform C/M audits daily.
· Ensure to follow change point control in their respective area.
· Perform other duties as required and assigned.
· Verify production, scrap, and QAD reports
· Control and track all New Models
REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Minimum two years prior supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.
· Familiar with Automated equipment, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Robotic equipment.
· Weld experience – Mig and Resistance preferred.
· Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
· Bilingual is a plus.
· Associate degree is a plus.
· Self motivation with good leadership.
· Good organizational skills.
· Proficient computer skills.
