Journeyman / Experienced Residential Service Electrician – Central Missouri
$2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS | $70,000–$100,000/year
Mr. Electric is hiring an experienced Service Electrician to serve homeowners across Central Missouri, including Columbia and communities throughout Boone, Cooper, Moniteau, Callaway, and Cole counties.

THE ROLE
As a Residential Service Electrician, you will diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems for homeowners throughout the Central Missouri service area. Your work may include basic fixture installation, electrical repairs, panel replacement, wiring, and complex troubleshooting.
You will:
• Diagnose electrical concerns and recommend appropriate solutions
• Complete residential electrical repairs and installations safely and correctly
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about findings, options, and recommendations
• Deliver a professional customer experience from arrival through job completion
• Look for electrical safety concerns and help customers understand how to protect their home and family
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
• Use an iPad and field-service software to manage customer visits and job information

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You may be a strong fit if you:
• Have at least 2 years of professional-level electrical experience
• Have experience troubleshooting residential electrical systems
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
• Are comfortable working directly with homeowners
• Are professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Are comfortable using a tablet and field technology
• Welcome coaching and want to continue sharpening your electrical and customer-service skills
ABOUT THE CENTRAL MISSOURI POSITION
This role supports customers across the Columbia/Central Missouri market and surrounding counties. Because this is a field-service position, you should be comfortable driving throughout the service area and working in customers’ homes.
