ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract in a radiology diagnostics unit. Bring your operating room and radiographic skills, along with strong Level 1 trauma experience, to this assignment starting November 23, 2026.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Perform radiographic work in the radiology diagnostics unit.
• Apply operating room skills to radiographic work.
• Use a picture archiving and communication system (PACS) to manage diagnostic images.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Have 3+ years of experience, including experience within the last 5 years.
• Have at least 1 year of travel experience.
• Demonstrate proficient operating room and radiographic skills.
• Bring strong Level 1 trauma experience at a large academic medical center.
• Hold current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Have completed an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Have experience using PACS to manage diagnostic images.
NICE TO HAVE
• Hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Live 50 miles from Birmingham, as preferred for this assignment.
SCHEDULE & BENEFITS
13-week contract starting November 23, 2026. Work five 8-hour mid shifts, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with every fourth weekend scheduled.
