A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiac Surgery at a hospital setting. Join a supportive team with 24-hour call responsibilities over three weekends a month, focusing on adult patient care. Handle critical cases from the cath lab necessitating urgent surgery with backing from a consulting surgeon.

Job Responsibilities- Provide cardiac surgery care, including vein harvesting and patient management from ICU to home.- Respond to approximately 4 hours of callbacks per day, including rounding and urgent cases.- Collaborate efficiently with a team of Advanced Practice Providers and surgeons.
Qualifications- Board Certification required- Pennsylvania License required- DEA required; Acute Care Certification not required- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Working Hours- 24-hour call, covering three weekends per month: Friday, 5:00 PM - Monday, 7:00 AM
Skills- Proficiency with EPIC EMR- Strong capability in handling urgent surgical procedures- Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
