We’re Looking for a Painter Who Takes Pride in Exceptional Work
We are looking for an experienced residential painter who understands that exceptional painting starts with exceptional preparation.
Our work includes high-end interior and exterior residential projects throughout the Bend/Redmond area. We work in beautiful homes and with clients who expect professional craftsmanship, reliability, cleanliness, communication, and respect for their property.
If you are the type of painter who notices the little things, takes pride in straight cut lines, knows when additional prep is needed, and doesn't consider a job finished until it looks right—we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
High-quality interior and exterior painting
Detailed surface preparation
Scraping, sanding, patching, caulking and priming
Precise cutting-in around ceilings, trim, windows, doors and architectural details
Rolling and brushing with professional-quality finishes
Spraying when appropriate, including proper masking and protection
Interior and exterior staining
Working with different paints, primers, stains and finishes
Protecting floors, furniture, landscaping and finished surfaces
Maintaining a clean, organized jobsite
Identifying problems with surfaces before painting and communicating them
Working independently while maintaining project standards
Communicating professionally with homeowners and project managers
The Person We're Looking For
Experience matters, but craftsmanship matters more.
Our ideal candidate:
Has 3+ years of professional residential painting experience
Is highly skilled with prep work and cutting-in
Has experience with both interior and exterior projects
Understands different paint products, sheens, primers and stains
Can recognize poor or inadequate preparation before applying finish coats
Produces clean, consistent, professional results
Is dependable and shows up when promised
Communicates clearly and professionally
Can work independently without constant supervision
Takes ownership of their work
Keeps a clean and organized work area
Treats clients' homes and belongings with exceptional care
Has a professional attitude and appearance
Is comfortable working around high-profile, high-value clientele
Discretion & Professionalism
Some of our clients have significant privacy expectations.
Discretion is a requirement of this position.
You must be comfortable working in private residences while respecting clients' privacy, belongings, conversations, schedules and personal information.
We expect our painters to be professional, respectful and discreet at every jobsite.
What Will Make You Stand Out
We especially want to meet you if you have:
High-end residential painting experience
Excellent brush and cutting-in skills
Strong staining experience
Experience with wood siding, trim, doors and decks
Spraying experience
Experience working on custom homes
Experience communicating directly with homeowners
A portfolio or photos of your completed work
Strong references from previous employers or clients
Lead-safe/RRP experience where applicable
