HED NYC is a modern Thai fine dining restaurant located at 461 W 23rd Street in West Chelsea. We offer a five-course tasting menu that bridges the depth of Thai culinary tradition with contemporary technique and precision. The Role
We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our brigade. This is a full-time position suited to a cook who has worked in a fine dining environment, takes pride in their mise en place, and is ready to contribute to a serious, collaborative kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Execute your station's mise en place and service to a consistently high standard
- Prepare dishes for our five-course tasting menu under the direction of our Corporate Chef
- Maintain precision in plating, portioning, and timing throughout service
- Uphold food safety and kitchen sanitation standards at all times
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth, cohesive service
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of fine dining kitchen experience
- Strong foundational technique and mise en place discipline
- Ability to perform calmly and efficiently during fast-paced service
- Reliable, punctual, and a genuine team player
- Familiarity with Thai cuisine or Asian flavors is a plus
- Experience in tasting menu or prix-fixe formats is a plus
