About the Role:
D&G Multi Services LLC is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team in Prince George, VA. This is a hands-on opportunity to operate powerful machinery on exciting projects while being part of a hardworking, dedicated crew. Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, and compactors on job sites
- Perform site preparation, grading, excavation, and land clearing operations
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on all assigned equipment
- Follow project plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions to ensure accurate work
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA and company safety standards
- Coordinate with ground crew, laborers, and site supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
- Report equipment malfunctions or site hazards to management promptly
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment in a professional setting
- Experience doing Land Clearing and Grading
- Experience with Demolition
- Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, site plans, and project specifications
- Strong knowledge of equipment safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physical terrain
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience in site work, utilities, or land clearing preferred
