Job Description Job Description About the Role: Green Mountain Feeds Inc is looking for a dependable and experienced Over the Road Delivery Driver to join our team in Bethel, VT. One-two overnights expected. Class A CDL and two years' experience required. EDL (Enhanced Driver's License) or passport required. Must have a clean driving record and be able to lift 50lbs. Responsibilities:
  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport and deliver feed products to customers across regional and long-haul routes
  • Safely load, secure, and unload freight in accordance with DOT regulations and company standards
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs (ELD)
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Green Mountain Feeds professionally
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required and EDL or passport required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable OTR or commercial driving experience preferred
  • Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR
  • Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and DOT Hours of Service regulations
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy feed bags and bulk deliveries as needed
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules independently
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to safety on every run
