The Food Server supports full table service in a casual dining restaurant, delivering attentive guest service from greeting and order taking through payment and departure. Reporting to the restaurant manager, this role maintains accurate orders, demonstrates strong menu knowledge, assists with large parties and takeout orders, and helps create an enjoyable dining experience through thoughtful beverage recommendations and menu suggestions.
Pay rate is $12 from the house plus tips. Si Uthai is very fast growing restaurant in an affluent area. We were recently featured on News 10 ABC. Our dining room is consistently full and there is opportunity for substantial earnings every day.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive full table service throughout the guest experience.
- Greet guests, take accurate orders, and confirm special requests.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly, including wine or beverage pairing recommendations.
- Coordinate service for large parties and support takeout order preparation and handoff.
- Assist guests with menu selections and upsell appropriate menu items.
- Set and reset tables, process payments, and ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized dining area and promptly address guest needs.
