Dog Daycare Attendant – $16/hr + Quick Raise Opportunity

We’re currently hiring for:
Weekdays: approximately 1:30 PM–7:00 PM
Weekends: Saturday & Sunday evenings, approximately 2:00 PM–7:00 PM
Starting pay: $16.00/hour

- Opportunities to earn additional raises based on performance
- We believe in growing and promoting from within

What You’ll Do
This is a hands-on, active job working directly with dogs every day. Responsibilities include:

- Learn canine behavior and body language so you can recognize what dogs are communicating
- Feed dogs, provide fresh water and bedding, and follow individual care instructions
- Maintain exceptionally clean kennels and play areas
- Clean toys and dishes, mop, vacuum, and handle the occasional not-so-glamorous doggy mess
- Follow established safety procedures and playgroup protocols
- Communicate with teammates and pet parents
- Notice potential problems and proactively address them
- Help wherever needed to keep the center running smoothly
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of professional dog experience—we can teach the right person. We’re looking for someone who is:
- A genuine dog lover
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive and willing to learn
- Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and breeds
- A strong team player and communicator
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
- Comfortable talking with pet parents
- Available for the afternoon/evening and weekend shifts listed above
- Willing to work some holidays as needed
Previous animal-care experience is preferred but not required.
This Is a Physical Job
You’ll be on your feet and moving for much of your shift. Candidates must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions and be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
