Welder
We are seeking a skilled Welder to perform welding, fitting, cutting, and related fabrication work in a metal fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading drawings and weld specifications, setting up jobs, and producing quality welds with limited supervision.
Requirements of the Welder
- 3+ years of general welding experience
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding
- Ability to read weld specifications, shop drawings, layouts, and blueprints
- Ability to set up and position weldments using fixtures and jigs
- Knowledge of structural metals and welding materials
- Ability to use basic measuring tools, gauges, and templates
- Experience with welding equipment, grinding, cutting, and surface preparation
Responsibilities of the Welder
- Review job orders and welding specifications
- Set up, fit, and position weldments for production
- Perform MIG/TIG welding, cutting, grinding, and surface preparation
- Inspect welds for proper quality and bonding
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area
- Follow company quality, ISO, and safety standards
- Complete work accurately while meeting production requirements
2nd shift: 1:30PM - 12:00AM Monday through Thursday
Pay is $30.00 - $34.00 hourly, based on experience
