Software Test Technician - Industrial Automation

CTR Group is seeking a SOFTWARE TEST TECHNICIAN - INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION, for a Manufacturing Company in the Newport News, VA area.

Pay Rate: $27 per Hour or higher with Benefits.

SUMMARY:

Seeking a Software Technician to perform quality tests on industrial automation software.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree in Computer-related field.
• 1-2 years of experience testing for industrial software application issues.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for industrial software applications.
• Investigate software issues and identify root causes.
• Experience with QA testing on industrial communications and using Modbus TCP and OPC DA.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Document test results and performance evaluations.
