Position Overview

We are seeking licensed General Medicine Providers (MD, DO, NP, or PA) to conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations. You will perform objective physical assessments and complete standardized web portal documentation (DBQs) to help veterans secure their service-connected disability benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct objective, in-person medical evaluations for military veterans.
  • Complete web portal documentation (Disability Benefit Questionnaires / DBQs) accurately and efficiently.
  • Average exam and charting time ranges from 30 to 60 minutes per veteran.
  • Provide a professional, respectful evaluation experience with no ongoing patient follow-up or care management.

Requirements

  • Credentials: Active, unrestricted license as an MD, DO, Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Training Availability: Must be available to travel to Oceanside, CA for our VMG Examiner Training from October 4th - October 9th, 2026. (Flights, hotel, and conference meals are fully paid by VMG).
  • Skills: Strong clinical evaluation skills, attention to detail, and comfortable with web-based charting systems.
