Home Care Aide – Bakersfield, CA
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Home Care Aide to provide high-quality in-home care to clients in Bakersfield, CA. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and a strong commitment to client safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with established care plans
- Monitor, observe, and report changes in client condition
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Home Care Aide (required). If you do not show a work history of caregiving on your resume, you will not be considered.
- Current CPR certification (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and agency protocols
- Valid identification and ability to pass a background check
- Valid Driver's License required
- Reliable transportation is required
